Fellow Oppos, I come to you for some advice. I’m looking at leasing a new or a CPO vehicle (2014/2015/2016 Chevy Cruze) and need some help on how to compose an email to the dealerships. I’m not looking for hard numbers/buying a car this weekend or anything (unless they offer an amazing deal that is crazy, crazy, crazy good), but in all honestly.. I have no idea what I want/need to say in the email.
Can someone help a fellow Oppo out?

I just leased a car, you gotta figure out how many miles your gonna drive each year. I did mine for 15k a year.

I wouldn’t email the dealership until you’re ready to go. What info do you need?

Don’t get a car this weekend, it will be chaos and any email you send out today might not get answered or they will call you with “So when can you come down to the dealership? We are having a big sale! etc...”
First thing you need to do is figure out what you want. Leasing a CPO car is out, Chevy simply won’t offer that. Here is a good post that will get you started -

Tom, no makes I ever worked for allowed leasing of pre-owned vehicles, even CPOs. Is this even a thing?

I have heard of it happening here and there with some luxury cars. There are private leasing companies that will do it, but it is not through the manufacturer. It’s too bad though because leasing a 1 year old CPO car could be awesome, depreciation has already happened and it is still under warranty.

Thanks Tom, that’s very helpful. I didn’t think about how crazy they’ll be this weekend as it being Labor Day.
I also didn’t realize they wouldn’t sell CPO’s via lease, so that narrows down what I’m looking at too.
And I know what I’m looking for already. 2015/2016 Chevy Cruze 2LT or LTZ (Depending on the pricing). My dad works for GM (35 years!) so I also get his discount, but he tells me it changes often and he never knows what it’s covering at a given time.

I really am just asking how to compose the email. Sorry for the rambling post.
